Speedy the turtle

Speedy is an energetic turtle who wants to protect and help the inhabitants of Wakiki City, a tropical city on a small island in the middle of an ocean. He is sent on a quest to retrieve a mystical gemstone that was stolen by Tori, a villainous Tiki mask who takes great pleasure in causing mayhem wherever he goes.

During my last year at the HKU, I worked on two graduation films, a 3D film (Drive-by Paradise) and a 2D film (Speedy the turtle). I focused on creating concept art and steering the design process throughout the project.
